The Chaplet of Saint Joseph

This chaplet is prayed on your traditional rosary beads in similar form with the Joyful, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mysteries of Saint Joseph.

• With the Crucifix, make the Sign of the Cross and say the Apostles' Creed.

• On the large beads, say the Our Father.

• On the small beads, say the Hail, Holy Joseph:

Hail, holy Joseph, spouse of the ever-virgin Mary, foster father of God the Son, whom our Father in heaven chose to be head of the Holy Family.  Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.  Amen.

• After each decade of small beads, say the Glory Be and the Fatima Prayer on the large bead before the next mystery.

• After the five decades, say the Memorare of Saint Joseph on the centerpiece:

Remember, most pure spouse of Mary ever-virgin, my loving protector Saint Joseph, that never has it been heard that anyone invoked your protection or besought your aid without being consoled.  In this confidence I come before you; I fervently recommend myself to you.  Despise not my prayer, Foster Father of the Redeemer, but graciously deign to hear it.  Amen.

• Close with the Sign of the Cross on the centerpiece.
